Skills training and certification give young people in Aweil a real chance at work, enterprise and leadership.
YAAP was founded by young people who believed they could do something about poverty in their own communities.
Our youth empowerment programme offers practical skills training, mentoring and certification. Graduates go on to start small businesses, find work, and volunteer in their communities.
Young people also take part in civic engagement activities, giving them a voice in local decisions.
