Goal
Education
Building and equipping learning spaces, and keeping children — especially girls — in school.
Education is the foundation of change. Too many children in our communities learn under trees, without books, or drop out early because their families cannot cover the cost.
YAAP works with communities and local authorities to construct and rehabilitate classrooms, distribute learning materials, and support girls with the essentials they need to stay in school.
We also run outdoor and catch-up learning for children who have missed school, so they can return to a classroom with confidence.
